1st Echo - Sam has regained a fraction of Maou's ability to absorb the negative emotions around him and convert them into magical energy. He can't get any meaningful amount of power, but he can sense unhappy people around him.
2nd Echo - Sam's eyes have dark red irises and slit pupils.
3rd Echo - Expanded off echo one, Sam can now absorb negative emotions and store them as energy.
4th Echo - Sam can transform into his demon form, gaining superhuman strength and toughness.
5th Echo - Sam now has the mindset of a demon overlord, rather than a deadbeat college dropout.
6th Echo - Sam recalls Satan's defeat, his flight from Ente Isla, and his declaration to return and subjugate all life.
7th/8th Echo - Sam can now move objects around him with his mind, and can dominate people's minds by eye-contact
9th Echo - Sam recalls Emilia the hero, the half human, half angel warrior who was responsible for halting his conquest of Ente Isla.
10th Echo - In total contrast to his other memories, Sam recalls contemplating using demonic power to fix a french fry fryer at "MgRonald's".

12th Echo - Sam recalled the language of Ente Isla.
